Sardines Packed in Spring Water

Sardines are rich in protein, fats, vitamins, and minerals. They contain concentrated sources of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA). Sardines are inexpensive, sustainable, and contain low levels of mercury and PCBs. Packed full of minerals, such as calcium, copper, iodine, and selenium, sardines are a superfood for your dogs and cats.

Storage

You can store canned sardines at room temperature. Although canned sardines have a long shelf life, it is best to check the expiration date. Turning the can occasionally helps ensure all parts of the sardines are exposed to the liquid in which they are packed. Refrigerate unused portions of opened sardine cans.
