HOW TO BACK UP YOUR DATA

One file holds all your pet and recipe data. Follow the instructions below to make a copy of this file. You should store this file on a thumb drive or some other storage media apart from your computer. In Windows Explorer, type %appdata% (with the percent signs) in the address bar and press Enter. This takes you to the “Application Data” folder. Scroll to the bottom and look for a file called “pdd03.sdf”. When you find this file, copy it. This file contains all your data.

HOW TO REINSTALL YOUR DATA ON ANOTHER COMPUTER

Download and install PDD on a new computer using the link from the Download email. After successfully installing PDD, you will have a new copy with only sample recipes. To get your own recipes, close PDD for Windows.

In Windows Explorer, type %appdata% (with the percent signs) in the address bar and press Enter. You will go to the “Application Data” folder. Copy the old data file (pdd03.sdf) you backed up to a thumb drive (see above) to this directory, and choose to overwrite the existing data file created when you installed PDD. You should now have all your pet and recipe data.

Apply the license key that was sent to you in the License Key email.
