PDD Beta is nutrition software for healthy dogs and cats. With our software you can create homemade meals that are designed specifically for only your pet. We call this personalized nutrition and it is far superior to anything that you can buy in a store.

And PDD Beta is far more than just a pet nutrition program. Track contact info and make appointments. Record all basic information about your pet, including physiology, medical and laboratory data. PDD Beta includes an analysis of all nutrients set out by the National Research Council (NRC) 2006 publication: “The Nutrient Requirements of Dogs and Cats”. This is the gold standard for dog and cat nutrition. AAFCO (USA) and FEDIAF (Europe) are commercial standards derived from NRC.

Yes, our PDD Beta product displays nutrients as a percentage based on an individual pet’s needs.

In most cases the nutrient amount expressed in grams, milligrams, or micrograms per kilogram of body weight (Amt/BW0.75) is inappropriate. Instead, PDD Beta calculates the amount to feed of each nutrient expressed in either grams, milligrams, or micrograms by a predetermined value, based on lifestage, multiplied by the unique energy requirements of your pet (expressed in kcal) and divided by 1000.

The calculations used by PDD Beta are more exact and ideally suited for personalized nutrition.

PDD Beta uses the standards set out by NRC 2006 publication: “Nutrient Requirements of Dogs and Cats.” The NRC standard is the gold standard and includes important fatty acid nutrients that are not included in the AAFCO or FEDIAF standards.

Yes. Our video tutorials are publicly available on our website. For further support, our private support tickets  are available to customers with an active license.

Product support is provided for a one year period from the date of issuance of the license.

We do not offer email or phone support. Please use our private support ticket system for any technical support.

Before creating a support ticket, please watch ‘Complete Diet Formulation for Dogs’ in the Documentation section of this website. The same principles apply to cats. These video tutorials were created exactly for your situation.

Support is available only to paying customers with active subscriptions. If your subscription has expired and you need support, please renew your subscription.

When you do renew your subscription you will receive the latest update. This update may include a fix for your problem as well as new features and new foods.

No. Unfortunately you cannot install on an USB drive.

The PDD Beta license includes a one-year subscription for unlimited support via our online documentation and our private support ticket system. Our private support ticket system allow PDD Beta customers to enter questions, track responses, and review solutions. All PDD Beta licenses also include one year of access to all new releases, both major and minor. After one year, you may elect to renew your subscription to retain access to support and new releases.

If you need access to the latest release, or need technical support services, you will need to renew your subscription.

We encourage you to renew your subscription while it is still active since this will lock in the renewal pricing for the next year and ensure uninterrupted access to technical support services and updates.

Yes, you may renew your lapsed subscription online or by contacting sales.

We accept payments from PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and all major credit & debit cards. We do not store payment/card information on our server.

Our subscriptions do not auto-renew. Each payment is a one-off payment.

You can place an order for Pet Diet Designer products over the Web using our secure ordering system.

Please note that to fulfill your order, we require the names and e-mail addresses of each end user. This is to ensure quicker turnaround and access to software. After placing your order, you will be e-mailed download instructions for the product you purchased as well as the required key to unlock the product. You should receive your download instructions within 1-2 days after your order is submitted. Usually the process is completed in minutes unless there is a problem with your credit card or internet connection.

Licenses are issued on a per person basis. If you have 2 or more people using the software, then each person needs to purchase a license.

You can use your license on a maximum of 2 computers, as long as the purchaser is the same person using PDD Beta on both computers.

No. PDD Beta licenses apply to one user only and are non-transferable.

Your license key will be sent to you within 2-3 business days. You have full use of the software right now and all the pets and recipes you create will remain when you apply the key.

PDD Beta was designed for Microsoft Windows but can be run on Macs (Intel or Apple M-series Macs) with the help of virtualization software like Parallels Desktop for Mac (https://www.parallels.com). We do not recommend any other virtual machine besides Parallels.

You have to pay extra money to run PDD Beta on a Mac. You need to purchase Parallels® Desktop for Mac,and the Windows 11 operating system. You can purchase and install Windows 11 through Parallels.

At Pet Diet Designer, we strive to make our customers satisfied with the product they’ve purchased from us. If you’re having trouble with a Pet Diet Designer product or believe it is defective, and/or you’re feeling frustrated, then please submit a support ticket to report your issue and our team will assist you as soon as possible. We may request a screenshot of the issue from you to be sent to our support team.

No returns/refunds will be offered for digital products except if the product you’ve purchased is:

  • Completely non-functional.
  • And you’ve opened a support ticket/request on our Forums but you didn’t get any response in 48h (business days only).
  • And/or product main description was fully misleading.

Once we have distributed a release version to the customer, the sale is final, and you may not return the software for a refund or credit. Please be cautious and make sure you know what you are purchasing.

We also reserve the right to refuse a refund in following situations:

  • You have changed your mind about an item/subscription.
  • Under no circumstances will Pet Diet Designer provide refunds on “your software is not what I need” or “your software is too difficult to use” basis.
  • Finding a bug in our products is not a reason for a refund. If you do find bugs, please report them in our forums so that we can fix them.
  • You bought an item by mistake and the product(s) was sent/already downloaded by you.
  • The product(s) was bought by your employee or other member of household, using your payment method which he/she had legal access to.
  • We don’t offer any refund for any item that you buy/bought at a discounted price. The items you buy at a special price (e.g. promotions/discounts) will not be eligible for refunds.
  • No refund will be offered for any item (even if it was bought at a regular price) while any discount offer is running on our site. Your refund request will be evaluated after the discount offer/campaign ends.
  • Renewals or upgrades will not be eligible for refund.
Please also note that:
  • You may cancel your account at any time, however, there are no refunds for cancellation.
  • If you get a refund you cannot use the downloaded premium products any more.
  • Refunds can take up to 14 days to reflect in your account.
